Course in religious seminary prepares for confrontation of tenets of Baha'i Faith


This training, as we know, can only serve to spread knowledge of and interest in the Baha'i Faith. The light of its teachings cannot but ultimately dispel the darkness of slander and bigotry!

Iranian Quran News Agency (IQNA) reports on Tuesday, July 28, 2009, in Persian:

A representative of a religious seminary in the province of Fars states that the first round of critical studies of religions and sects has commenced in Kazerun. These sessions are intended to introduce the masses of people, particularly youth, to various religions.

According to the report from the Fars branch of IQNA, this course of study will be a month long and will be divided into sections for each of the following religions: Wahhabism, Baha'ism, Sufism, and New Age religions. They began on Monday, July 27, and are taught by instructors sent by the Qom seminary.

This training is conducted through a collaboration between the Imam-Jum'ih of Kazerun and the religious seminary of the same town, and is under the supervision of Qom seminary.
